612 ABC BRISBANE | AFTERNOON SHIFT 1 – 3PM | SEPT 27 – OCT 5 2012

Batten down the ABC hatches! I’ll be filling in for the extraordinarily lovely and talented Kelly Higgins-Devine and filling the airwaves for two hours from 1pm to 3pm. It’ll be a hoot and a half.

BRISCOMFEST UNTIDY REVIEW – COURIER MAIL MARCH 7 2012

When you put on a festival show, you hope people will find it funny. And that it will sell. And that the reviews will be kind. If all three actually happen, that is truly a happy day. After a sold out run and this review by Baz McAllister in the Courier Mail, colour me stoked..

UNTIDY PRESS – B105 INTERVIEW AND CITYCAT STAND UP

I’m quite used to doing stand up on a ship. But doing it on a cross-city ferry with just three passengers onboard was certainly a new one for me. It was all in aid of promoting my Brisbane Comedy Festival show “Untidy” and the best breakfast radio team in the world – B105’s Labby, Stav and Abby – made it happen.

GENDER BIAS ON THE ABC – COMIC SEGMENT INVOLVING ME!

I love talking on the wireless. I particularly love chatting with Kelly Higgins-Devine and Mike Van Acker on the wireless on 612 ABC Brisbane. Which is why our new segment “Gender Bias” makes me so happy. Here’s how Kel describes it on their blog:

It’s a crazy world you live in and sometimes you find yourself looking for a bit of guidance, a sliver of moral compass as to what to make of this mad mad mad mad mad mad world.

Welcome to Gender Bias, a place of calm reflection, of considered thoughts, of moral outrage without the screaming.. but with a focus on how the male and female brains are wired so very differently.

In the pink corner – Kat “Nothing hurts more than a foot tattoo” Davidson and in the blue corner – Mike ” Try tattooing you finger ” Van Acker.

This first instalment covered lots of fun topics including Untidy at the Brisbane Comedy Festival.
